The town I grew up in is full of some pretty amazing people. They work together to do things that cities 4 times their size and larger would struggle to pull off. Their latest adventure has been to renovate and old victorian hotel. The Weaver Hotel was once the last place to stay at the end of the railroad. Its a pretty awesome structure and has a character all its own. 5 years ago or more the town decided to pursue saving and renovating it and after years of hard work they've succeeded. Now, its an operating hotel with 10 guest rooms, 2 meeting or banquet rooms, and a gift shop. My mother and her long time business partner own and run the gift shop. They also manage the hotel along with a board of directors. To learn more about it, go to http://www.weaverhotel.com/ or to see more pictures check out the Weaver Hotel link to the right under client albums.
