Sessions are geared completely to each client’s interests and last in length accordingly.
Many clients ask me what to wear. My style is more casual and candid. Therefore, I recommend keeping clothing simple and comfortable. The most important thing for your wardrobe is that you are comfortable. By wearing what you love then your photos will reflect you and your family. Bright solid colors with jeans or Khaki's work great! If more than one person is being photographed, dress in similar or complementary colors.
Newborns are often photographed naked and are best photographed within the first three weeks of life when they are still at their sleepiest. Try to dress babies in loose clothing to avoid having clothing lines on their skin. As with any session you’re welcome to bring blankets, hats, and any prop you want.
Maternity Sessions can be done anytime you're comfortable. Most, however, are done between 32nd and 36th weeks. You want to be showing nicely yet not ready to deliver. I take pictures of newborns and will even come to the hospital for your delivery if you want. I just don't deliver newborns.
Small children sessions are treated as a play date. I try to make it a fun experience for them while I capture those precious memories of them being them.
I offer unlimited clothing changes and avoid at all costs, pun intended, sales pressure. I just want to have an enjoyable time preserving your memories and special moments.
